Yeah, so?
“Who found out that nothing can capture a heart like a melody can?
Well, whoever it was, I’m a fan“
Hi, I’m Emma Davies.
I’m currently studying for a Postgraduate Diploma in Magazine Journalism at Cardiff University, and I also blog about online issues affecting journalism at emmaelizabethdavies.wordpress.com as well as using Twitter (@emcetera).
Right, that’s boring stuff out of the way…
I have, in the cliched way, loved music since I was a kid. Listening to music, watching it, finding it, reading about it and writing about it – I love it all.
I don’t know exactly what my first ever record was, but I do remember that a Hanson album was one of the first things I owned on CD. Thankfully my music taste has improved somewhat over time.
I try not to discriminate too much by genre, but I’m probably more into indie, rock, folk and some good pop more than I am anything else. I’ll happily listen to anything, though, as long as I like it – currently that’s anything from Slow Club to The Saturdays.
I started Keeping on the Beat in order to allow me to take an (occasionally sarcastic) swipe at music news. I’ll be posting stuff as and when I can, and I’ll be trying to include as many links and videos as I can. If you have any questions or comments at all, please feel free to contact me at emma.elizabeth.davies@gmail.com
Enjoy!
